The city of Aliso Viejo is hosting an Independence Day celebration at Grand Park. This even includes live entertainment, arts and crafts, and free bounce house and face painting. Purchase food and beverages or bring your own. Enjoy a fireworks show at dusk.

Fireworks Spectacular at Doheny State Beach
In Orange County, the best way to celebrate 4th of July is with a Beach BBQ. Head down early to Doheny State Beach and grab a BBQ and picnic tables. Then stay for the fireworks show at 9pm. July 4th Spectacular- Music of the Eagles
Listen to the sounds of the Pacific Symphony performing classic hits from the Eagles, composer John Williams and patriotic favorites. The Symphony will perform their traditionally salute to the armed forces and the show ends with a spectacular fireworks display. You can bring in your own food or purchase a picnic meal upon arrival. The concert will be performed at performed at 8:00pm at the Verizon Wireless Ampitheater.

Ladera Ranch

July 4th Celebration
Known for one of the best fireworks displays in South Orange County, LARCS will present a funfilled day of activities. In addition to a dazzling fireworks show in Founder’s Park, the celebration will include a festive community parade, the Freedom Run, live music, fun activities, and delicious food.

Laguna Beach

Sawdust Festival July 4th Patriotic Concert
The infamous Sawdust Festival will be open from 10am-6pm on the 4th of July. Admire the work of over 200 local artists displaying their talents over a variety of mediums. View demonstrations, talk to artists and purchase pieces. From 10:30-12:30 the Laguna Concert Band will be playing swing music to get everyone in the patriotic spirit.

Festival of the Arts
Laguna Beach is known as a diverse and talented art community. Celebrate the 4th of July by admiring work on display at the Festival of Arts at 650 Laguna Canyon Rd. There are various events, exhibits and festivals throughout the summer. The 4th of July exhibit features ceramic works of art done by young artists.

Fireworks show at Heisler Park
Laguna Beach puts on a beautiful fireworks display right over the water. The fireworks will be launched from Hiesler Park, so the park will be closed to the public. The show can be watched from the beach.

Laguna Hills

Annual 4th of July Celebration
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to the Laguna Hills Community Center for a Fourth of July celebration. Enjoy live music, carnival games and rides, patriotic crafts and face painting. Food and drinks will be available for purchase and the event ends with a fantastic fireworks show at 9:10pm.

Laguna Niguel

34th Annual Run in the Parks
Hosted by the Laguna Niguel Family YMCA, proceeds from the Run in the Parks benefit the YMCA Scholarship Program. There is a 5k run/walk and a 10k run that both start at 7:30. The kids races start at 9:30, and all races take place throughout the Crown Valley community and Laguna Niguel regional parks. Participants are invited to a pancake breakfast hosted by the Chamber of Commerce from 7:30-11:00am.

Free Concert at Crown Valley Community Park.
Celebrate the 4th of July with a free concert at Crown Valley Community Park from 6-8pm. Enjoy the sounds of Undercover Live, a cover band that plays hits from the 50′s to today. Bring blankets and low beach chairs. Afterwards, its just a short walk to Laguna Niguel Regional Park to watch the fireworks display at 9pm.

Lake Forest

4th of July Pancake Breakfast and Parade
The theme for this years 21st annual 4th of July Parade is “Lake Forest-Hometown USA.” The parade starts at 10am in front of El Toro High School and features local clubs, classic cars and a float with the city’s hummingbird mascot. Come out early and enjoy a Pancake Breakfast in the high school gym from 7:30-10am. It’s hosted by the Kiwanis club and is $5 a person.

Firecracker 5K Run/Walk
This annual 18th annual 4th of July race benefits the El Toro High School PTSO. It starts at 7:30am on the corner of Toledo Way and Ridge Route. There were over 1500 participants last year and the city excepts a full race again this year.

Mission Viejo

Annual Street Faire and Fireworks Spectacular
The city’s annual 4th of July celebration is a chance for the community to come together and celebrate our countries independence with booths and live entertainment. Local clubs and organizations set up booths to sell food, drinks, crafts, gifts and games.  Free entertainment includes music, dance and comedy for the enjoyment of children and adults alike. And of course, the evening ends with a spectacular  fireworks display.

Rancho Santa Margarita/Coto de Caza

4th of July Parade and Country Fair

Come out to the corner of Coto de Caza Dr and Plano Trabuco Road at 10:00am for the annual 4th of July Parade. Afterwards enjoy the country Fair the Coto Sports Park. Carnival games, petting zoo, bounce house, water balloon toss, three legged relay race, food vendors and a beer and wine garden.

San Clemente

Fireworks Show at the Pier
Enjoy a spectacular fireworks show over the Pacific Ocean at the San Clemente Pier. Show starts at approximately 9pm.

San Juan Capistrano

4th of July Celebration at the Sports Park
Live music, mechanical rides, and a bounce house transform the San Juan Sports Park into a a festival of fun. There will also be a beer garden, food and exhibits. The activities start at 3pm and end with a fireworks show at 9:00pm.
